The Name really is mudd
My name really is Mudd, I promise, it's just a wonderful and serendipitous coincidence that I am also a potter. Based in Portland Oregon, I spend my days covered in clay and love it.
I love everything about this art form, the mess, the patience, and the awareness it requires, they all teach me something new everyday.
Katie Mudd Ceramics was born out of passion, love and, over a decade of hard work, both in and out of the studio.
My goal as a maker is to create objects that can be enjoyed everyday, and celebrate the little everyday moments that make this life extra sweet as well as beautifully ordinary.
